

Objective
This project tasked me to create and design a coffee brand targeted towards a demographic of our choice. With the newer popularity of coffee shops built into church lobbies, I decided to create a brand based on Catholic Cathedral architecture while also appealing to the modern church aesthetic to sell to tired congregations on Sunday mornings. Churchyard Coffee is a religious ground coffee brand that wants to encourage positive faithful conversations through interactions over a cup of hot coffee. The main designs on the packaging are inspired by Catholic stained-glass windows, quatrefoils, and archways.











Process
We started this project by brainstorming our target audiences and creating design mood boards. After deciding on a consumer, we created multiple brand names and logos. Finally, we took our final logo and created package designs that we refined after various critiques.
